Data Engineer / Data Migration Consultant – SQL, Housing Systems

Are you an experienced SQL Data Migration/ETL professional?  Do you have experience fo successfully migrating daya between housing management systems?  Let Informed Recruitment help you to achieve your potential with an exciting opportunity for a Data Migration Engineer to be responsible for ensuring that all legacy data from a portfolio of housing applications is exported, cleansed, and loaded in a new best of breed system. As a specialist provider of resource to the Property & Associated Technology markets, we are delighted to be partnering with a social enterprise offering you the opportunity to make a difference as part of a flagship implementation.  The contract is offered as a 6 month+ contract, is remote, and can be either side of IR35.

The purpose of your role will be to ensure a successful data migration from selected legacy application to a new enterprise system.  Your duties will include formulation of data migration strategy, the mapping of data, data cleansing, data conversion data transfer and supporting colleagues with data activities that you delegate, data structure definition, interface mapping, building custom reports, bespoke development of the database, and third-party supplier engagement.

Must Have
 

• Previous commercial experience of working with relational databases and with data migration, Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) data transfer, data mapping, data transformation, and debugging.
• SQL Server, SQL Scripting.
• Experience of using data loaders.
• Previous experience migrating data between housing management systems (Such as Civica Cx Housing, NEC Housing, Capita One/OPENHousing, MRI Enterprise/Orchard, Aareon QL/Homemaster, MIS ActiveH , or similar) and their associated data schemas. 

 
Nice to Have

• Oracle, PL/SQL scripting.
• API integrations
