Project Manager – Data Governance, Master Data Management

The purpose of the role is to scope and implement a data governance framework, as well as to take ownership of a data workstream to move to a new unified data management platform and ensure delivery is aligned with the project plan.   You will manage workstream dependencies, attend daily scrums, escalate emerging risks and issues, manage reporting, and resource allocations.
 
Must Have
 

  • Demonstrable commercial experience of full life cycle IT &/or Change Project Management
  • Previous experience scoping and implementing Data Governance Frameworks.
  • Proven experience of managing data migration projects, ideally to unified data platforms.
  • A solid understanding of Master Data Management.
  • A solid understanding of all things data (discovery, ownership, modelling, cleansing, quality, migration, integration).
  • Professional qualifications in Project Management, such as PMP, Prince2, APM or similar.

As an individual you will have experience in both matrix management and line management of cross functional teams with effective and strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills both verbally and written.
