Application Support Analyst, Financial Accounting software

Your day-today responsibilities will revolve around the support, maintenance, and administration of an enterprise finance software application.  Further duties will include investigation and analysis work; support regular reporting, budget processes and forecasting; maintaining existing reports, whilst developing & designing new reports; scripting SQL queries to support reporting and data validation; develop work schedules; supporting incidents, upgrades, and new system and modular implementation to financial applications; security management; mapping, improving, maintaining and updating system processes and documenting procedures; improving system performance; maintaining service level agreements and system documentation; providing excellent customer services and stakeholder engagement; user acceptance testing; and training users.

Must Have

• Commercial experience of working with, supporting, and improving financial accountancy software applications.
• Some form of analysis experience, be it Systems Analysis, Root Cause Analysis or experience translating technical requirements to none-technical stakeholders.

• Experience of detailed working with at least one accountancy software solution, such as MS Dynamics 365 F&O/Great Plains, Sun Accounts, Sage, Oracle Cloud/Financials, UNIT4, SAP Financials, Civica Financials, CODA Financials, Advanced/Open Accounts, Xero, Workday, Xledger, QuickBooks, or similar.
• Systems Implementation, and upgrade experience.
• Experience in creating, building, and maintaining financial reports.
• SSRS
• SQL scripting

• SQL Server/Data Migration/ETL
• Power BI
• SharePoint
• Any relevant certification – ITIL, PRINCE2, ACCA, CIMA, part qualification, AAT, or similar.
